Stock, clients and buy-backs were spread across spreadsheets. I designed and built one platform to replace them, and the team now runs the business on it.

The problem01

A boutique selling high-value pieces was tracking stock, client accounts and buy-backs in shared spreadsheets and folders. Every sale touched several files, and nobody fully trusted the numbers.

The approach02

I started from what the team does each day, not from the spreadsheets. Each screen was designed around one job, shown to the people who would use it, and only then built.

  4. 04Roles, so each person sees what they need

The result04

The team works in the platform every day and the spreadsheets are no longer used. New parts of the business are added to it as they come up.
